MediaTek has finally confirmed when it will announce the next flagship Dimensity Chipset. The MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus SoC will be officially unveiled on May 10. To recall, its predecessor Dimensity 9200 was launched back in November 2022.

Dimensity 9200 Plus is expected to come with upgrades over its predecessor in all major arenas.

According to Digital Chat Station, the main 1x ARM Cortex X3 prime core will be clocked at 3.35GHz compared to 2.05GHz in Dimensity 9200, 3x A715 performance cores will be clocked at 3.0GHz compared to 2.85GHz, and the 4 x A510 power-efficient CPU cores will be clocked at 2.0GHz compared to 1.8GHz, offering an overall increase in CPU performance.

The Immortalis- G715 GPU will get a boost in clock speeds as well. The brand claims 1.26 million points on AnTuTu during Dimensity 9200 launch, which surpassed all Android flagship phones.
