LG V30+ with 6-Inch Full View Display Set to Make Debut In India On December 13

LG is all set to launch its flagship smartphone V30+ in India on December 13. Yes, after making its debut in Europe the phone is set to land in India next week. The V30+ is more or less similar to the V30 barring additional storage and hybrid SIM tray.

The Plus version of the LG V30 comes with 128GB storage whereas the initial version use to come with 64GB onboard storage. The phone boasts a 6-inch QHD+ OLED FullVision display with 1440 × 2880 pixels resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio and HDR 10 support.

LG once again roping in Qualcomm’s best Snapdragon 835 system on chip to drive the device. The phone will be running on Android 71.2 (Nougat) out of the box with LG UX 6.0+ layered on top. LG has said that it will upgrade it to Android 8.0 (Oreo).

Apart from the trendy display, the LG V30+ also stars a dual camera setup (16-megapixel + 13-megapixel) at the rear side with f/1.6, OIS, EIS, 3-axis stabilisation, laser and phase detection autofocus. Up front, it is packed with a 5-megapixel shooter with f/2.2 aperture.

That’s not all, the LG V30+ boasts a 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC which is accompanied by ESS Technology’s SABRE ES9218P for a great audio experience. LG is bundling a B&O Play earphones with the phone. For connectivity, the LG V30+ includes 4G LTE, VoLTE, USB Type-C, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and A-GPS. The phone is aided by a 3,300mAh battery with Qualcomm’s quick charge 3.0 support.

The LG V30+ is already available in South Korea in four colours Aurora Black, Cloud Silver, Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet. Back home, the LG V30+ priced approx. Rs 58,900.
