Ending speculations, Korean smartphone maker LG has now announced its latest offering, the Q6 handset, as an addition to its new Q series of smartphones. Along with the said device, the company has also lifted the lid off of two other smartphones (the Q6+ and Q6a), which feature similar specs as the Q6, but with slight differences in the RAM as well as the inbuilt storage space(s). (हिंदी में पढ़ें)

All of the three sport a 5.5-inch FHD+ Full vision display having an 18:9 aspect ratio, and come clad in a metal frame with minimal bezels. Other than that, the three have an octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset at the hardware helms, and lack a fingerprint sensor (a bit of a dampener, if you ask us).

The Operating System is the latest Android Nougat 7.1 in all three, while a 3,000mAh battery has been put into use to keep each of them alive. Optically, LG has opted for a 13MP camera on the phones’ backs, while at the front, you will find a 5MP camera totting a 100-degree wide-angle lens.

Now for the differences, all the three have different RAM and ROM setups, with the base variant of the Q6 having a 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM, the Q6+ sporting a 4GB/64GB RAM/ROM combo, and the Q6α, being the most affordable of the trio, coming with a 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM setup.

The company has decided to put the phones on sale across major markets in Asia in the coming months, while the European, Latin American and North American smartphone markets would follow suit a while later.
