Lenovo’s new flagship phone, the Z5, could launch sooner than expected. The phone has got everyone excited with its truly edge-to-edge display without a notch and some insane specifications. The latest update is that Lenovo Z5 could launch as soon as on June 5 at an upcoming event in China.

The date was confirmed on the Chinese microblogging website, Weibo. Lenovo posted an image that has the phone in shadow and the launch date and time mentioned at the bottom.

Lenovo Z5 Specifications (Expected)

The biggest highlight of the Lenovo Z5 is going to be its display. As seen in the renders and teasers shared, the phone’s front has nothing but display, which is not hindered by a notch or a slight amount of bezel at the bottom. Lenovo claims that the Z5 will offer a screen-to-body ratio higher than 95 percent.

Further, the Lenovo Z5 is said to offer a whopping 4TB of inbuilt storage and a built-in battery that can offer “30 minutes of talk time at 0% battery”. Is that even possible? Until now, the maximum storage we have on a phone is 256GB and I don’t even know how the phone will last for half-an-hour with no battery.

As for the specifications, the Lenovo Z5 is expected to be powered by the premium Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, mated with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The phone is tipped to have a dual rear-camera setup with AI. Whether the Lenovo Z5 will have a retracting front-facing camera (like Vivo Apex) or none at all, we’ll have to wait and watch.

So stay tuned for updates.
