Lenovo Z2 Plus Lands in India, Comes with Snapdragon 820 & 4GB RAM

Lenovo has been teasing an upcoming launch on social media for some time and today it finally #fastforwards to the official launch of Lenovo Z2 Plus (which is known as Zuk Z2 in China).In India, it will be an Amazon exclusive with price starting at Rs.17,999 onwards. It is scheduled to go on sale on September 25 .

Lenovo Z2 Features

The Zuk Z2 is a compact premium looking device which flaunts a glass-fibre aesthetics. Apart from its specification, what sets it apart from most (not all) Android devices is its multi-functional button which doubles up as Home Button, Navigation button, and a fingerprint sensor when needed. Using it will take some getting use. Press the button to access app drawer, tap to back, swipe side to side to access open apps. Lenovo has added customization options for this all-rounder button under U-touch option in the menu.

The Lenovo Z2 Plus specification includes a 5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display with 441 PPI pixel density. It comes with 2.5D curved high fibre glass. Lenovo decided to skip Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood, it is powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC chipset which has four Kryo cores clocking up to 2.15GHz and Adreno 530 GPU. It comes with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB non-expandable storage.Also, the Lenovo Z2 Plus features an internal heat conduction technology to prevent the device from overheating.

In optics section, it houses a 13-megapixel primary camera with EIS, a f/2.2 aperture, and PDAF. On the front, the Zuk Z2 Plus bears an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with a f/2.0 aperture. It is fuelled by a 3500mAh battery which comes with fast charging support.
With this aggressive pricing, the Lenovo Zuk Z2 makes a compelling case for itself and will give a tough competition to the likes of Xiaomi Mi 5 and Zenfone 3.
