As expected, Lenovo has today launched the new Vibe Shot in India for 25,499 INR. Again, this is a bit more expensive than what everyone expected, perhaps because Lenovo will be pushing this Vibe phone through its offline distribution networks as well.

The main highlight here is the 16MP rear camera which supports OIS, triple tone LED flash, laser AF and 6p lens.  To further express its camera centric nature, it has been designed like a point and shoot camera, includes a slider to toggle between pro and auto mode and also incorporates a shutter key for quick image capture. An 8MP front snapper is present to take care of all your selfie needs.

You can record 1080p videos and enjoy full details on the full HD 5 Inch IPS LCD display panel. Specs junkies might not be pleased with the presence of Snapdragon 615 at 25k, but this shouldn’t be a deal breaker for basic and moderate users. To further aid performance there is 3GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage and the option to add another 128 gigs of secondary MicroSD storage.

All hardware is packed within a slim 7.6 mm casing, with well-balanced weight of 145 grams. Other features include 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Android 5.1 Lollipop based Vibe UI and a 3000mAh battery.
