Lenovo Vibe S1 has officially made it to Indian shores. The company has launched its first phone with dual front camera set up at an event in New Delhi today. Lenovo has been trying something ‘new and different’ with its vibe series smartphones. In Vibe X2 Lenovo introduced a layer design while the more recently launched Lenovo Vibe Shot, which apes a DSLR camera, has been a clear evidence of Chinese manufacturer’s efforts to surprise us with something out of the box.

The Lenovo Vibe S1 will primarily cater to selfie aficionados. The phone has two front cameras – the primary one is an 8-megapixel sensor, duly assisted by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The primary camera focus on the object and captures the image, the secondary camera collects the depth of field data. The software works its magic and blends the two captures to add bokeh effect to clicked selfies.
Apart from its dual selfie cameras, the phone gets to boast a 5-inch multi-touch sensitive full HD IPS display which is powered by a 1.7 GHz 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage. Lenovo ships with Android V 5.0 Lollipop and draws energy for it from 2500 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, phone is equipped with 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and FM. The Lenovo Vibe S1 will be exclusively sold on Amazon for Rs. 15,999 starting at midnight.
