New tablets from renowned Android brands are a rare sighting these days, but few OEMs like Samsung and Lenovo still believe in the form factor.

Lenovo has launched a new and intriguing family tablet, the Moto Tab, for the US and for now, it will be exclusive to AT&T carrier subscribers. The new Moto Tab is primarily designed for entertainment and can be paired with a bunch of accessories for added potential.

Moto Tab Specifications and Features

To start with, the Lenovo Moto Tab has a 10.1-inch Full HD display, is powered by Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor, and is fueled by a massive 7000mAh battery, which sounds ideal for a large display entertainment tablet. The chipset is, however, backed by only 2GB RAM and 32GB of built-in storage. You can add a microSD card, though.

Apart from the display, the Moto Tab has a fingerprint sensor and dual speakers on the front.

The software running on the tab is near stock Android 7.1 Nougat with some new additions. You can swipe left to watch AT&T’s DirecTV, or change video feed directly from the quick settings. The Moto Tab also allows you to add customizable Kids profiles that they can unlock with their fingerprint.

The Tab can also be paired with a full-sized Bluetooth Keyboard with a trackpad, kickstand cover, and its own 400mAh battery. Another accessory, the Home Assistant dock is a speaker that snaps to the side-edge and will charger your tab simultaneously.

Moto Tab Price and Availability

The Moto Tab will be available to AT&T subscribers for $15 for 20 months or for $299 up front. The Moto Tab will be available for purchase from November 17 onwards.
