Lenovo India’s social media machinery has switched to hyper-active mode as they set to launch successor of immensely popular K3 Note. This new phone will be dubbed K4 Note, and it is scheduled to arrive in India on 5th January, 2015. Although most of Lenovo K4 Note features and specification are yet to be revealed, the company has confirmed presence of 3GB RAM.

Teasers released so far outline a metal exterior and a fingerprint scanner. If Lenovo is consistent with Vibe X3 design (as evident from camera + fingerprint sensor module), you can also expect the presence of dual frontal speakers.

Lenovo had a splendid 2015 in India. It tasted sweet success with its online exclusive 4G portfolio and Lenovo K3 Note was the show stopper. It will be a daunting task for its successor to replicate that success story. The K3 Note phablet features a 1.7 GHz MediaTek’s MT6752 chipset which is paired with 2GB of RAM. It was among the first few handsets which brought full HD display for under 10K price, which also instigate arch rival YU to update Yureka to Yureka Plus.

Other notable features of Lenovo K3 Note include13-megapixel primary camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, dual SIM phone supports, Android Lollipop based Vibe UI and 4G LTE connectivity.
