Lava Z91 with 18:9 Display launched in India: Price, Specification and Features

Lava embraces a few modern trends like Full Vision Display and Face Unlock with the launch of Z91. It’s the first phone from the Indian smartphone maker to flaunt an 18:9 display and will compete against the likes of Redmi Note 5.

Lava Z91 Features

The Lava Z91 comes with a 5.7-inch display which supports HD+ resolution. It gets a 2.5D curved glass covering on top of the display. The phone enthralls on MediaTek MT6739 chipset which is assisted by 3GB of RAM and PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU. Lava is offering 32GB of onboard storage along with microSD card support of up to 128GB.

For photography, the Z91 is equipped with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie shooter. As per company claims, the phone is capable of clicking images with Bokeh effect. However, with the only single camera in action, the portrait mode is likely to be software powered.

The Z91 flaunts a glass finish at the rear panel which also houses a multi-function fingerprint sensor. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based Star OS 4.2 which offer features like face unlock which, as per company claims, unlocks the device within 0.7 seconds.

Lava Z91 Price, Availability, and offers

The Lava Z91 retail price for the Indian market is set at Rs 9,999. By mid-April, 2018, the phone will be available at 1lakh retail stores throughout the country. The company has partnered with Bharti Airtel to offer Rs 2,000 cashback and two-year warranty bundled for those who choose Airtel as its carrier operator.
