The homegrown brand Lava has unveiled its latest premium smartwatch, the Prowatch Xtreme, which emphasizes durability and fitness. Priced below 5k, this smartwatch is equipped with numerous health features, an AMOLED display, integrated GPS, a sturdy aluminum alloy frame, and an IP68 rating for enhanced durability. Lava Prowatch Xtreme: Price & Availability

The Lava Prowatch Xtreme comes in three strap styles-

  • Silicone-Rs.  4499 (sale price-Rs. 3999)
  • Nylon-Rs. 4699 (sale price-Rs. 4199)
  • Metal-Rs. 4999 (sale price-Rs. 4499)

It will go on sale on 16th June via Amazon, and come with a 2-year warranty. Buyers will be able to avail Rs. 1000 additional discount on select bank cards. Nylon and Metal variants will include a complimentary silicone strap.

Lava Prowatch Xtreme: Features

The Lava Prowatch Xtreme features a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen boasting a resolution of 466×466 pixels, 326 PPI, and a brightness of 500 nits, along with Always-On Display (AOD) support.

It is safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and constructed from a sandblasted aluminum alloy, making it both lightweight and durable, with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The smartwatch operates on the ATD3085C chipset and is compatible with Bluetooth 5.3, enabling Bluetooth calling, quick reply messages, and additional features. It offers a battery life of 8 to 10 days, along with Intelligent Exercise Recognition and six organized running programs.

Health sensors feature the HX3960 PPG sensor for monitoring heart rate and SpO2 levels, along with VO2 Max, HRV, intelligent sleep tracking, body energy assessment, and over 110 sports modes. The Explorer Suite enhances outdoor tracking by incorporating a barometer, altimeter, compass, and AQI monitoring.

The device features a 6-axis G-sensor that allows for accurate motion tracking. It integrates with Google Fit and Health Connect to provide a centralized hub for health information. Additionally, it includes productivity tools such as event reminders, a Pomodoro timer, Find My Watch and Phone, a World Clock, and gesture controls. This smartwatch is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
