Kia Corporation has unveiled its upcoming C-segment sedan that’s set to rival the likes of Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, etc. The company’s new sedan – K4 – comes with a new design that embraces Kia’s bold attitude of continuous progress and brings new thinking, innovation, and design values to the segment.

From exterior design to interior features, here’s everything you need to know about the new Kia K4 sedan.

Kia K4 sedan: Exterior design

Kia is known for making bold design moves, from the new Sonet to the Seltos, both come with a mature look and design, and the K4 sedan isn’t that different. The K4’s exterior, according to the company, exudes an aura of ambition, energy, and strength. The car’s design represents modernity with body shape twisting logically aligned squares in a slightly non-traditional fashion, a technique they refer to as ‘Twist Logic.’

The alternating squares have a light flowing between them that enhances the entire shape of the sedan throughout the entire body design. The front features vertical headlamps and Daytime Running Light elements integrated with horizontal chrome strips, creating a wide, confident stance.

At the back, it boasts vertical lamps, that not only complement the front headlights but also make the car look more streamlined overall. Other than this, the back also has a wide technical bumper and an air diffuser with a strong, graphical design.

Kia K4 sedan: Interior design

From the inside, the interior has been done right and it looks more or less like other Kia cars, except for those really modern touches. Kia says that the K4 features a driver-centric cockpit with an expected layout design for a different characteristic.

The interior separates the driver from the passenger with a bold graphic split, creating distinct spaces – the technical, machine-like driver cockpit and the comfortable, human passenger cabin. The dashboard is dominated by a large central screen, similar to the new Hyundai and Kia cards. The sedan also comes with physical buttons and controls and they look minimalist.

Kia K4 sedan: Colour options

Kia K4 sedan is set to come with an array of new seating trims, materials, patterns and colour options, including Medium Grey, Slate Green, Canyon Brown, and Onyx Black.

Kia K4 sedan: Launch details

Kia K4 will make its global premiere at the New York International Auto Show on March 27, 2024. However, India launch details are still unknown.
