Intex technologies has today launched its first fitness smartband – FitRist, which will be available exclusively on Snapdeal for 999 INR. This wearable activity tracker is water resistant and will be available in Dark Blue and White color options.

FitRist connects to your Android or iPhone via Bluetooth and can be used for activity and sleep tracking like most other fitness wearables. The OLED display on the band can also be used to mirror smartphone notifications, display workout stats and also to control music playback.
You can also use FitRist as a shutter key for camera and to track your phone. Intex claims the battery will last for 12 whole days. Oddly enough, Intex didn’t talk about compatible software application.
