Infinix Smart 5 is the latest entry-level phone in India. The highlights include a large HD+ display, Helio G25 SoC, 2GB RAM, dual rear camera, and a massive 6000mAh battery.
Infinix Smart 5 Price and Availability
Infinix Smart 5 is priced at INR 7,199 and will retail on Flipkart from February 18. The device will be available in four color variants of Morandi Green, 7° Purple, Obsidian Black, and Aegean Blue. Infinix Smart 5 will compete in the Indian market against Micromax In 1b (review), Redmi 9A, Realme C11 (review), and the newly launched Samsung Galaxy M02.

Infinix Smart 5 Features
Following the footsteps of its predecessor Infinix Smart 4, the new Smart 5 boasts a large 6.82-inch HD+ display with a 90.66% screen-to-body ratio, 20.5:9 aspect ratio, and 440nits brightness. For the rear panel design, it has a gem cut texture with a flow pattern. The screen also sports a waterdrop notch housing an 8MP front camera with dual-LED flash.
At the back, Infinix Smart 5 boasts a dual-camera setup comprising a 13MP primary shooter and a low light sensor. Special camera features include over 15 auto scene detection and modes like Slo-mo Video, Bokeh, AI HDR, AI 3D Beauty, AR Animoji, and AI 3D Body Shaping. The Sl-mo feature is a promising feature in this price segment. It ships with a quad-LED rear flash.

Infinix Smart 5 is powered by an entry-grade MediaTek Helio G25 processor paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage with microSD support. It runs on Infinix’s own XOS 7 UI based on the Android 10 Go edition.

The Smart 5 is packed with a beefy 6000mAh battery though lacks fast charge capability. Security features include fingerprint and face unlock mechanism. For connectivity, the device is equipped with dual VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, a micro USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
