Gear up for the next-gen EV with the Hyundai IONIQ 5 showcased in India. The company is looking to redefine the electric mobility segment and is expected to launch a feature-packed Ioniq 5 EV SUV at Auto Expo in January 2023. With an extensive set of features inclined to serve the buyers, the hatchback promises energy efficiency, smooth experience, comfort, and more, and that’s all in style. Hyundai IONIQ 5 Pricing and Launch in India

Hyundai India has opened booking for customers, which they can do online by making a payment of Rs 1,00,000. The official price is yet to be revealed.
We expect Hyundai IONIQ 5 price in India might fall between INR 45 lacs to 50 lacs, which will be a very competitive price for the Indian market. Another source suggests a price tag of a whopping INR 50 lacs for the SKD unit and will compete against Volvo CX40 Recharge (INR 55.90 lacs for P8 AWD) as well as Mini Cooper and Kia EV6 (INR 50.90 lac)
We expect the first delivery to happen by the end of the first Q1 of 2023.

Hyundai IONIQ 5 Colors, Design

The upcoming IONIQ 5 is offered in three primary colors, i.e., Gravity Gold Matte, Optic White, and Midnight Black.
The exterior of the Hyundai IONIQ 5  is distinguished by clear, sharp lines and shapes that give this BEV a recognizable SUV silhouette. Hyundai IONIQ 5 has finely modeled surfaces and forms that give it a sturdy yet futuristic appearance. The remarkable Parametric Pixel LED Headlamps, LED tail lamps, and symmetrical bumper with skid plate add to its attractiveness.
Parametric pixel alloy wheels are aerodynamically designed to offer a novel perspective on parametric pixel geometry. When the driver is nearby, the Auto flush door handles on this BEV automatically pop out.

The Dark Pebble Gray interior color of the Hyundai IONIQ 5 provides a touch of luxury while still providing a unique experience. The Hyundai IONIQ 5’s interior has Eco-processed leather seat upholstery, soft-touch door trims and dashboard, pixel-style on the armrests, seat upholstery, and steering wheels. 
Hyundai IONIQ 5 features 31.19 cm (12.3″) Touchscreen Infotainment with Navigation along with 8 speakers system from Bose. The SUV car comes loaded with 60+ connected car tech along with 3 years free Bluelink subscription from Hyundai.

Hyundai IONIQ 5 Specifications

The EV-powered IONIQ 5 does offer a lot under the hood. There’s a standard variant with 160KW and a rear-mounted electric motor. Then, we have a rear-drive configuration with a longer range capable of producing 350 Nm of torque and 217HP. Talking of the IONIQ 5 from 5 to 60mph in 7.4 seconds.

Next, the standard variant packs a 72.6 kWh battery pack has 631km clocked when using a single one. It would take around 18 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%, while the whole battery takes 25 minutes on fast charging and 6:43 hours on normal mode.

Hyundai IONIQ 5 EV has a 115 mph top speed on the clock alone with a maximum power of 168 kW. It uses Lithium-Ion Polymer batteries onboard, as usual.

It also have ABS with EBD, ventilated and solid discs front and rear brakes, and 20″ alloy wheels on both sides. There’s MacPherson Strut and Multi-link technology on both front and rear suspensions. IONIQ 5 has specifications: 6 Airbags, Brake Assist, Brake Booster, Hillstart Assist Control, Downhill Brake Control, Electronic Parking Brake, and Regenerative Brake Control Paddles, among others.

IONIQ 5 furnishes some of the most impressive smart features, such as an Anti-theft system, central locking system, DRLs, Low Battery Indicator, Mobile App Connectivity, Reverse Mode, Digital Tachometer, GPS, and so on.

When it comes to the dimensions and other measurements, the model has a 1,890mm width, 4,635mm length, and 1,625mm height with 3,000mm wheelbase.
