Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 with Waterdrop Notch Announced: Price, Specs

Huawei had a dream run this year. The company shipped over 200 million shipments in 2018 and even displaced Apple to secure the second position in the global scenario in terms of market share. Now Huawei has started unfolding its game for next year with the announcement of a new Y-series phone. Interestingly, this phone will feature a water-drop notch and this will be Huawei’s first budget smartphone to come with this design.

Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 Features

This new smartphone features a 6.26-inch Full HD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a  water-drop notch design. The display is shielded under a 2.5D curved glass. It runs on the Snapdragon’s low-range octa-core 450 SoC that is manufactured on 14nm process. It is coupled with an Adreno 506 GPU. The phone has a RAM of 3GB and internal storage of 32GB which can be expanded up to 512 GB with the help of a microSD card.

The phone packs a dual camera module on the rear consisting of a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. rear module is supported by a LED flash. The front camera module boats a 16MP selfie shooter. The phone does not have a fingerprint sensor but does come with software enabled face-unlock.

Huawei Y9 runs on Android Oreo 8.1 based EMUI 8.2 and is powered by a 4000 mAh battery.

Huawei Y9 Price and Availability

The phone has been priced at 39,90,000 Vietnamese dongs which roughly translates to Rs. 11,990. The phone will be available in two colors: Aurora Blue and Black. There is no word yet on when this phone will be available in the Indian market.
