Huawei Watch GT 2 is set to launch in India on December 5 via Flipkart and Amazon

Huawei Watch GT 2 had its official debut back in the month of September. It will be finally making its way to India. Huawei India website reveals its availability via Flipkart and Amazon India. The ‘Notify Me’ option is also live now.

Incidentally, its predecessor, the Huawei Watch GT also had its Indian launch this year itself. And as you may already know, the Huawei watches run on the proprietary Light OS, instead of Google’s Android Wear. Let’s see what else is different and new on this upgrade.

Huawei Watch GT 2 India launch

Huawei Watch GT 2 comes in two variants. Starting with the 42mm one, it will be available in Night Black paint. It sports a 1.2-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 390×390 pixels. The internals comprises of Kirin A1 SoC along with 16MB RAM, 4GB storage and a 215mAh power unit.

Then there is a larger 46mm one, which will be out in Matte Black, Pebble Brown, and Titanium Grey colors. It has a 1.39-inch AMOLED panel with a 454×454 pixel resolution. It shares the same processor but with double the RAM and a beefier 455mAh battery.

Huawei Watch GT 2 lets you track your health and fitness on various parameters like heart rate, steps, calories, etc. Among other specs, it is equipped with Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and water resistance up to 50 ms. If you pick the bigger variant, you could enjoy Bluetooth calling as well.
