The Chinese communication devices and hardware manufacturer Huawei has introduced its new Huawei Watch in India. The Smartwatch is priced at Rs. 22,999 and will be available on Flipkart from today 2PM onwards. At the launch event, it was mentioned that company is currently mulling on making it available at selected online stores. Inspired by Swiss timepieces, this Sapphire crystal Smartwatch also has a built-in to handle calls (both incoming and outgoing) on the go.

The Huawei smartwatch flaunts a 42mm rounded dial, 1.4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 400×400 pixels and 268ppi pixel density. To shield display from scratch marks it wears a Sapphire Crustal on top of the display. Under the hood, boasts a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 chipset coupled with 512MB RAM and 4Gigs of onboard storage.

It comes loaded with a 6-axis sensor for fitness tracking, along with a heart rate sensor alongside Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 as connectivity options. It comes with onboard 300mAh rechargeable battery and runs on Marshmallow based Android Wear. This device is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. The smartwatch comes pre-loaded with 40 watch faces.

This Android Wear based Smartwatch was first showcased at MWC 2015 and later in September company launched it in a number of countries including the United States and European nation. Earlier this year, it launched two new variants of its smartwatch at CES 2016 named the Huawei Watch Elegant and Huawei Watch Jewel.
