Huawei P20 and P20 Pro recent launch certainly has the temperature soaring. After the global showcasing, Huawei seems to be prepping up for Huawei P20 and P20 Pro India launch. The company has put out vague teaser banner on its official website captioned “coming sooon to India”.

This new teaser is also in line with comments Honor Global President George Zhao made at the sidelines of MWC 2018. At the annual tech event, he confirmed that Huawei will be bringing its P20 flagships to India.

Huawei P20 Pro teaser

As soon as you open the Huawei India website you will be first greeted by a banner of P20 Pro with #seemore and as you scroll down you will see another banner with a hazy side edge of P20/P20 Pro that says “coming sooon in India”. It remains to be seen whether Huawei brings both P20 and Pro 20 or only one of them. Having said that, we expect Huawei to introduce both phones in India.

Huawei P20 Pro Features

The Huawei P20 Pro is the more feature-packed of the two and offers better hardware in comparison to the P20. The P20 Pro flaunts a 6.1-inch display with a notch. The OLED screen has full HD+ resolution and is layered with a 2.5D curved glass on top.

The phone is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 970 chipset which is mated to i7 co-processor, Mali-G72 MP12 GPU, Neural processor unit and 6 GB RAM.

The most talked out feature of the Huawei P20 Pro is its triple camera module of 40 megapixel+20 megapixel + 8-megapixel sensors. It also includes a 24-megapixel front camera, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and 128 GB internal memory.

Huawei P20 Features

The Huawei P20, on the other hand, features a 5.8-inch LCD display with notch supporting 2240×1080 pixels resolution. While the chipset and most other sophisticated innards are the same as the P20 Pro, Huawei offers it with only 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.

The P20 comes with a dual rear camera setup of 12-megapixel RGB with a 20-megapixel monochrome lens. Both cameras have with f/1.8 and f/1.6 aperture, respectively. Huawei claims that its Leica lens has a 1.55μm bigger pixel size, which is assisted by laser autofocus, PDAF and a dual tone LED flash. It can also record slo-mos at 960fps. On the front, it packs the same 24-megapixel Sony IMX576 sensor and f/2.0 aperture.

Both phones come running on latest Android Oreo-based EMUI 8.1 custom skin. The Honor P20 Pro has a 4000mAh battery while the P20 could only manage to squeeze in a 3400mAh battery. Both phones support dual 4G and dual VoLTE.

Huawei P20 India Launch Date

Since Huawei has put out teasers on its website, we expect the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro India launch to happen in next few weeks.  In all probability, Huawei P20 Pro India debut will happen before OnePlus 6 and Mi Mix 2S go official in the country.
