There is not stopping for Google Pixel 2 rumors and leaks. The Google Pixel 2 smartphones have been making rounds on the internet courtesy various image renders for some time, however, the Pixel 2 appearance on FCC (Federal Communications Commission) portal throw some more light on what to expect from an upcoming phone.

According to the FCC certification screenshot, one of the second generation pixel smartphones (model no.: NM8G011A) is being manufactured by HTC. It appears that the new phone’s setting page will have a persistent search bar and it will come with 64GB inbuilt storage out of which approx. 51 GB will be free for the end user. It was spotted running on Android 8.0.1 with August 5 android security patch.

If you look at the leaked images closely, one will notice that, in the second image shows “Active Edge on, squeeze for your Assistant.” under the Languages, input & gestures option. This means, the Google Pixel 2 is likely to come with squeeze feature which was one of the highlight of the HTC U11.

If past rumours are to be believed the Pixel 2 could land with Snapdragon 836/835 chipset with 4GB RAM. Recent, certification leak also points in the same direction as it confirms the presence of “8998” which is the baseband for both Snapdragon 835 and 836 SoC.
