HTC today introduced another mid-range Desire series smartphone, Desire 10 Pro, in India priced at Rs. 26,490. The new HTC phone looks stylish and elegant and will be available in Valentine Lux, Royal Blue, Stone Black and Polar White colors starting mid-December.
The Desire 10 Pro includes a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by mediocre MediaTek Helio P10 SoC, paired with 4GB RAM and ample 64GB storage. The phone also accepts up to 2TB of secondary microSD card storage via a dedicated card slot.
One of the key highlights of the Desire 10 Pro is its camera hardware. HTC has provided with a 20MP rear camera that comes with a pro mode, laser AF, dual LED flash and standard f/2.2 aperture. A 13MP front camera is also present for high-resolution selfies and it lets you stitch 150-degree wide panoramas.
Another selling point is the signature ‘Boomsound’ audio that output the same 24-bit high res Audio as the flagship HTC 10. So, this could be a great option for hardcore audiophiles restrained by a budget.
The software is Android Marshmallow based Sense UI, which is again one of the better and mature Android skins around. HTC Has been pushing it closer to Google’s unadulterated Android vision for some time now.
Other notable features include a recessed fingerprint sensor on the back, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and 3000mAh battery.
