HP has launched a new laptop in its Chromebook range in India. The new Chromebook aims towards students and comes with improved specs and has an affordable price tag so that students can fund their laptops on their own. Let us have a look at the price, availability, and features of the new Chromebook.

HP Chromebook: Price & Availability

The HP Chromebook 15.6 has a starting price of Rs. 28,999 and can be purchased via the company’s website. The laptop comes in Forest Teal and Mineral Silver shades.

HP Chromebook: Features

The new HP Chromebook with model number 15A-NA0012TU has a 15.6-inch display panel with HD resolution and 250 nits brightness. The display comes with micro-edge bezels. The laptop is powered by the Intel Celeron N4500 chip with a clock speed of up to 2.8GHz clubbed with Intel UHD graphics.

The new HP Chromebook’s connectivity options include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, two USB Type-C ports, one USB Type-A port, and a microSD card slot along with a headphone/microphone jack.

The laptop comes with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB eMMC storage with support for dual mics and a Wide Vision HD camera that comes with temporal noise reduction. There are large dual speakers with an improved speaker enclosure design.

There is a 47Wh battery with a 45W adapter and it runs Chrome OS. The new HP Chromebook 15.6 comes with a dedicated numeric keypad, HP QuickDrop for easy file transfers, and Office 365 compatibility. It also gives access to services like Google Assistant, Google Classroom, and 12 months of Google One with 100GB of cloud storage which covers all Google apps.

The all-new HP Chromebook joins the Chromebook x360 14a (Rs. 28,999), the Chromebook x360 (Rs. 44,999), the Chromebook 11 (Rs. 22,999), and the Chromebook 14 (Rs. 26,999), and more in the country.
