Microsoft’s long-standing and highly valuable tool, Notepad, has undergone a significant update. The integration of Artificial Intelligence into Notepad has been executed in an impressive manner. The updated Microsoft Notepad will introduce a feature named AI Rewrite, which allows users to rephrase sentences, modify content length, and adjust the tone of their writing. Currently, this feature is available as a preview for Windows 11 users in select regions, including France, Canada, the UK, the USA, Italy, Germany, and others. It is included in the Windows 11 insider builds and is powered by GPT technology.

Microsoft is currently offering a limited number of credits (50) to Notepad users for testing the new feature. Additionally, users in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Waltman with a Microsoft 365 or Copilot Pro subscription will have access to the new AI feature with 60 credits.

Microsoft has not yet announced the global rollout of the feature; however, it is anticipated to reach additional markets in the near future. Given that the company is offering credits for its use, the AI Rewrite feature is likely to be a paid service and may be included with various Microsoft subscriptions.
