Samsung has introduced a web app called iTest that lets iPhone users experience Android, particularly Samsung’s variant of it called OneUI. This overlay of sorts presents OneUI interface elements like the squircle app icon style, folders, homescreen, app drawer, widgets, Google Feed, etc. This is a neat trick aimed at persuading iPhone customers to switch to a Galaxy Android phone.

Samsung is marketing the iTest as an interactive website in New Zealand which was first spotted by MacRumors. However, the website is available on Apple devices all over the world. The minimum requirement to access the web app is you should have an iPhone 7 or later model.

How to experience Samsung OneUI on iPhone

1. Open the Samsung iTest website on your iPhone and add it to the home screen by tapping on the ‘Share button’ and clicking the ‘Add to Home Screen’ option.

2. An icon of ‘Samsung iTest app’ will be displayed on the home screen. Click on it to get started.

That’s all you need to do. You can experience the Android experience on an iPhone.

The web app simulates the whole pack of apps, settings, and features available on a Samsung Galaxy device. It includes SMS inbox, call logs, Galaxy Store, camera interface, and even Samsung apps like Galaxy Wearables, Samsung Kids, and Samsung Health apps. It also shows apps like Fortnite which are not available on iPhones.
