Honor X9c 5G Will Launch In India On July 7: To Feature Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 & 6,600 mAh Battery

Honor India has announced the launch date for its upcoming smartphone. The Honor X9c 5G looks good on paper. It will break cover in a few days and be available to purchase via the e-commerce platform Amazon. Check out more details about the Honor X9c 5G below.

In a press release, Honor has revealed the launch date for the X9c 5G. The company will launch the smartphone on July 7, 2025. Following the launch, the handset will go on sale from July 12, 2025, via Amazon.

As seen in the teasers, the Honor X9c 5G features a circular camera island with a metallic ring and a blacked-out central module on the back. The phone is available in two colors: Titanium Black and Jade Cyan.

Regarding durability, Honor states that the smartphone features triple-resistance protection, certified for water, dust, and drop resistance (up to 2 meters), along with an ultra-slim 7.98 mm side profile. Last but not least, it also comes with an advanced 3D protection design with SGS certification.

Honor X9c 5G Specifications (Confirmed)

Snapdragon 6 Gen 1

The Indian version of the Honor X9c 5G will sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,840Hz PWM dimming. It has also received certification for flicker-free and low blue light emission from TUV Rheinland. As mentioned on the landing page, the phone supports 4,000 nits of local peak brightness.

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 will power the device, making it sufficient for daily multitasking or casual gaming. Additionally, it will feature 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage (the phone will be available in a single variant).

Regarding optics, the Honor X9c 5G will sport a 108MP primary camera with optical and electronic image stabilization. The phone will also offer AI Motion Sensing, AI Eraser, and a high-resolution mode. Out of the box, the phone runs on MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15.

For an all-day battery life, the Honor X9c 5G will feature a 6,600 mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 65W fast wired charging. As far as connectivity is concerned, the phone is “5G Ready.” In its official press release, Honor mentions that it has improved its after-sales service ecosystem in India in collaboration with PSAV.
