Honor has officially returned to the Indian market after a hiatus of almost 3 years. The brand has launched an Honor 90 5G smartphone in the country today. HTTech held an online event to reveal the details about its upcoming smartphone’s design, features, price, and availability. Honor 90 was launched in China in May 2023 and now the brand has announced it for the Indian market as well.

Honor 90: Price & Availability

Honor 90 5G comes in 2 storage configurations-

8GB RAM+256GB storage (RAM Turbo up to 5GB)-Rs. 37,999 (Introductory price- Rs. 27,999)
12GB RAM+512GB storage (RAM Turbo up to 7GB)-Rs. 39,999 (Introductory price- Rs. 29,999)

Honor 90 5G will be available to purchase online via Amazon Specials with the first sale happening on 18^th September at 12 Noon. Amazon is offering an additional Rs. 2000 exchange bonus on Honor 90 5G.

Other offers include No-cost EMI, and free TWS goodies worth Rs. 5000.

Honor 90: Design

Honor 90 draws the inspiration for its design from jewelry. Honor 90 will be available in Diamond Silver, Emerald Green, and Midnight Black shades. The smartphone is 7.8mm thick and weighs 183 grams.

Honor 90: Specifications

Honor 90 sports a 6.7-inch 1.5K quad curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 1600 nits peak brightness, and 3840 PWM dimming. The display supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut 435 PPI, Netflix HDR support, and HDR10+ certification.

It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 accelerated edition chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage. The smartphone runs MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13. The brand claims it will be one of the cleanest UIs available currently.

Regarding camera optics, Honor 90 has a triple camera setup at the back including a 200MP primary camera, 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth camera. There is a 50MP selfie camera at the front. AI Vlog offers HDR videos, Multi-video, portrait videos, close-ups, and solo cuts. AI Noise Reduction filters out noise for ultra-clear video recording in a live video.

The device packs a 5000mAh battery under the hood with 66W fast charging capability. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band WiFi, GPS, NFC, and more. There will be support for 14 5G bands.
