Honor 7S with 5.45-inch display, smart battery management launched in India: Price, Specifications, and Features

Huawei’s latest budget phone, Honor 7S, has been launched in India. Back in May, the phone was launched in Pakistan. Key specifications of Huawei’s latest phone comprises a 5.45-inch HD+ display, quad-core MediaTek SoC, Android 8.1 (Oreo) with EMIUI 8.1 atop. The phone also supports face unlock.

Honor 7S Features

The Honor 7S comes installed with a 5.45-inch 720 x 1440p display, having 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by MediaTek MT6739 chipset, clocked at 1.5 GHz, and assisted by PowerVR GE8100 GPU, 2GB RAM + 16GB internal memory unit, that is expandable up to 256 GB via microSD.

For the phone’s optics, a 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP selfie shooter has been employed. Honor 7S runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box with Huawei’s proprietary EMUI 8.0 layer atop. The phone is fueled by a 3020mAh battery unit, with Honor’s smart battery management 6.0 assistance, that controls power consumption in the device.

The phone measure 146.5 x 70.9 x 8.3mm and weighs 142g.

Connectivity features on Honor 7S include 4G VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, and hotspot, GPS and a headphone jack.

The phone will be available in colour options of Blue, Black, and Golden, and will cost Rs. 6,999 for its single 2GB +16GB variant. It is a Flipkart exclusive phone, and sales will begin on the 14 of September 2018 at 12.00 noon.
