Chinese smartphone brand Honor has teased a new smartphone, which is likely to launch in India in the next month or so. Dubbed the Honor 200 Lite, the smartphone will join the Honor 200 series released recently by the company. The series consists of the mid-range Honor 200 (priced at around Rs. 35,000) and the flagship Honor 200 Pro (priced at around Rs. 58,000).

Honor 200 Lite Teased For India

In a post on the microblogging platform X (formerly known as Twitter), Honor teased its upcoming smartphone, the Honor 200 Lite. The company writes, “Ready to elevate your daily life? Something powerful yet LITE is coming your way. Stay Tuned!” This hints that the smartphone could feature capable hardware, but its main selling point would be how lightweight and thin it is.

Honor 200 Lite Specifications (Expected)

Honor 200 Lite specifications

Given that the smartphone is already available in international markets, we have a fair idea of its specifications. The smartphone’s main highlight is its thickness, which is just 6.78mm. Further, the phone weighs just 166 grams.

The Honor 200 Lite will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 processor, which features two cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six cores clocked at 2.0GHz.

In Malaysia, the smartphone is available in only configuration with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. However, in India, the phone could come with lower storage (limited to 256GB). Even though the smartphone is the thinnest in its segment and the ones above, it features a 108MP (f/1.75) primary camera and two secondary cameras for depth and macro photography.

Powering the smartphone would be a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 35W SuperCharge charging. Although there’s a good chance that Honor will release this particular in India, there might be a few changes, which we will only come to know once the phone goes official.
