Google’s Pixel phones are one of the most-leaked phones ever. We’ve seen this with the Pixel 7 Pro, whose live photos appeared online, revealing the camera layout before launch. In 2021, before the Pixel 6 Pro launch, we saw a hands-on video doing rounds on the internet. Now, when we are nearing the Pixel 8 series launch, Pixel 8 Pro has shown up on the company’s subscription and services web page.

Pixel 8 Pro leaked in Porcelain finish

Google Store’s “Subscriptions & Services” page momentarily displayed an image of the Pixel 8 Pro. In the picture attached above, one can see the smartphone in its Porcelain finish. The image also gives a good look at the phone’s rear visor, which contains the pill-shaped camera module we’ve seen in several renders.

Renowned Android journalist Mishaal Rahman shared the leaked image of the Pixel 8 Pro on his X account (formerly Twitter), crediting another Twitter user who goes by the name @android_setting. Rahman also mentions that the image’s alternative text reads, “a person takes a call on a Pixel 8 Pro phone in Porcelain,” which confirms that it is indeed the unreleased smartphone.

Pixel 8 Pro Design

The leaked image of the smartphone confirms its design that CAD-based renders that we shared earlier this year. Unlike the Pixel 7 Pro, which came with three distinct sensor modules, the flagship will feature a pill-shaped cutout that will house all three camera sensors. Further, the leaked image corroborates recent reports about the built-in thermometer on the phone’s back panel, which is visible under the flash module in the horizontal camera visor.

Apart from Porcelain, the Pixel 8 Pro is rumored to come in Sky, Licorice, and Jade finishes. Other smartphone specifications include a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display, a Tensor G3 chipset, a 50MP primary camera, 12GB of RAM, and a 4,960 mAh battery. The smartphone should come out in October 2023.
