Google Pixels have never been out of the limelight. Each year, we know what’s cooking even before Google debuts its next-gen Pixel device, and seems like the upcoming Pixel 8 series won’t be any different. We just got our hands on some Pixel 8 Pro images that were posted on Reddit and removed later hinting at possible authenticity.

The images were posted on Reddit showcasing Pixel 8 Pro from both back and front. There’s a mention of “for test/evaluation purpose only” that hints this device is not a fully baked one and is rather remotely wiped out as you can see in the images below.

Talking about the design, the purported Pixel 8 Pro as seen in the images shows a resemblance to its predecessor. You can easily see a triple rear camera (thus Pixel 8 Pro) onboard a glass camera visor that extends from left to right just like it did with the Pixel 7 Pro. There are no specifics available concerning the camera onboard but it’s Pixel we are talking about, it will bring the best cams on Android for sure.

The prototype shows the device is using 12GB RAM from Samsung while the 128GB UFS 4.0 storage is sourced from SK Hynix. Again, this is a prototype and you should take it with a pinch of salt at this stage. It is also because Pixel 8 series is slated to launch this October which gives us quite a few months until all the specs and design elements are finalized.

Taking the latest image leak and previous rumors, we could say that the Pixel 8 Pro will come with an infrared thermometer which is the one just below the LED on the back panel. The phone is speculated to sport a 6.7″ flat display hosting 1344*2992px resolution and 120HZ. As you can see, there’s a punch-hole cut-out right at the center. We are hoping for a 50MP ISOCELL GN2 primary cam, a 64MP Sony IMX787 ultrawide, and a 5x optical zoom telephoto lens at the back plus an 11MP front camera setup but again, these specs are yet to be officially confirmed.
