Google Pixel 7a has been making headlines for a couple of months now as a few leaks revealed the features and specifications of the development. While the search engine giants have managed to keep the Pixel 7a under wraps so far, we at Smartprix collaborated with OnLeaks to share the very first glimpse of Google Pixel 7a.

Thanks to Onleaks, we have the Google Pixel 7a 360 video which reveals the phone’s design from all angles. Let’s talk about the Pixel 7a design in detail:

These exclusive Pixel 7a images reveal how the design isn’t far from the existing Google Pixel 6a. As we can see in the renders, the Google Pixel 7a shows that the device will have a rectangular strip-style camera island at the upper side of the rear panel. The device’s dimensions are 152.4 x 72.9 x 9.0mm(10.1mm with the camera bump). In comparison, the Pixel 6a, was 152.2 x 71.8 x 8.9 mm. As compared to its predecessor, the screen and dimension difference is not something very noticeable.

We can spot the Google logo in the middle of the rear panel. In the camera island, the two sensors can be seen in an oval-shaped area with the flash placed at a slight distance.

Talking about the front panel, the device will have thick bezels all around and an extra thicker chin. For the placement of the front camera, the device will have a punch-hole cutout located at the top-middle of the display. The power button and the volume rocker are located at the right spine of the handset, and the SIM tray can be seen on the left spine.

The USB type-C port of the smartphone is located at the bottom side, along with the speaker grille. Previous rumours suggested that the device would come with a 3.5mm jack. However, we were unable to find one in the renders, which means the rumours can be bogus to an extent. From what we can see initially, the handset will be available in two colour options – White and Dark Grey. On a conclusive note, we can say that the design of the device seems quite identical to other phones from the Google Pixel 7 series.

Rumours have it that the Google Pixel 7a will include an FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate developed by Samsung. The rear camera setup of the device may include IMX787 and IMX712 sensors. The smartphone will most probably get the wireless charging support that was missing in Google Pixel 6a. Nonetheless, it is nothing to get excited about as the charging capacity will be capped at 5W. Similar to its predecessor, Google Pixel 7a could also ship with the Tensor chipset. We can also get to see an in-display fingerprint sensor for the purpose of security.

In another set of leaks, it has been revealed that the Pixel 7a will get Bluetooth LE support for an enhanced connectivity experience. As for the tentative launch of the smartphone, an Amazon page for the product has already been spotted. Speculations are that the phone will see the light by early 2023. Until now, only this much information regarding the device has been available online. We expect to know more about the handset as soon as the launch inches closer.
