Google Pixel 7a Release Date & Pricing
Turns out Max Weinbach and d9to5Google can confirm that the Pixel 7a will fetch a price tag of $499. It is a $50 hike over the Pixel 6a which was acclaimed as one of the best-value phones last year.
The phone is likely to have upgraded over the successor as usual. A mere $50 increase won’t affect buyers given the volatility of the current markets. Reports suggest we could see a 64MP primary sensor onboard Pixel 7a paired alongside 13MP ultrawide snapper. The Google Tensor G2 that was rolled out with Google Pixel 7 series will make it to 7a as well.
Adding to it, the Google Pixel 7a as per Jon Prosser will have these color options – Sea (light blue), Snow, and Charcoal. A fourth Coral colorway is available as well although only via Google Store. It will be announced on May 10 as aforementioned and will be available a day after.
Weinbach further added that unlike previously when the successor would discontinue, Google will keep the 6a alive and at reduced pricing. We aren’t aware of the exact nature yet although it is just a matter of a few days until the Google I/O 2023 kickstarts.
Google Pixel Fold Release Date & Pricing
According to Jon Prosser, the Pixel Fold will make its major announcement on May 10th which is when the Google I/O 2023 commences. Seems legit, isn’t it? The pre-orders on the Fold will begin on Google Store on the same day while partners and carriers will begin taking pre-orders on May 30th. Finally, the Google Pixel Fold will be available for sale on June 27th.
Prosser hinted at a $1,799 price tag on the Fold although it remains to be seen officially. It is highly likely though given Prosser’s reputation with previous leaks.
