Well, the rumor across the town hints at two lite variant Pixel phones i.e. Pixel 3a and 3a XL. They would be Google’s horses in the premium midrange or even affordable flagship race. After months of rumors and gossips surrounding the upcoming lite variant of the Google Pixel 3, a goof by the search giant’s one website has corroborated the speculations and in fact, gives us the name as well.  Thank you, Google!

Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL Specs (expected)

Codenamed, Bonito (3a) and Sargo (3a XL) will have trimmed down spec sheet to cut corners. The base variant could have a 5.56-inch IPS display at 2220×1080 pixels and running on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 chipset. As per leaks, these devices won’t be having a notched display. Other leaked specifications of this device are 4GB RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, 12MP rear camera, a 2,915mAh battery, and an 8MP single front-facing camera.

Both the phones would be running on Android 9 Pie out of the box. They would be having USB Type-C and Nano-SIM card. Where it lacks a card slot for expandable storage, Google’s Cloud storage option comes to the rescue.

These phones’ prices could float in the Rs 30,000 to Rs 50,000 range. Recent leaks indicate the US launch via Verizon Wireless.
