Garmin Venu Sq with 20 activity trackers, 6-day battery life launched in India

Garmin is an established name in the fitness wear space. Today, it has unveiled a new smartwatch in India called Venu Sq. Well, there is a special Music edition too. Both watches sport a boxy squarish design with multiple strap choices. Inside, they come with 20 sports trackers, a decent set of health monitoring features, and 6-days worth of battery life.

Garmin Venu Sq highlights

Upfront, there is a 1.3-inch 240 x 240 pixels liquid crystal (color) display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The official website mentions an optional always-on mode as well.

The case is made of fiber-enforced polymer, bezels of anodized aluminum, and the strap of silicone. The watch weighs around 37.6 g. Garmin has equipped the Venu Sq with 5 ATM water resistance.

First of all, there are 20 activity trackers for indoor and outdoor activities like yoga, pilates, swimming, running, golf, etc.

You get to keep a tab on your advanced sleep patterns, blood oxygen saturation (with Pulse Ox2), respiration, steps, calories, resting as well as abnormal heart rate (both high and low), stress (with reminders to relax and breathe), and hydration. There is a menstrual cycle tracker for women.

There is support for real-time notification sync, find your phone, weather, calendar, downloadable watch faces, widgets, and apps. Venu Sq works over Bluetooth and is compatible with both Android and iOS.

Garmin Venu Sq is available at ₹21,090, while the Venu Sq Music Edition costs ₹26,290.
