At the “Scary Fast” October event, Apple announced the M3 lineup, which consists of three chipsets, including the vanilla M3, M3 Pro, and the M3 Max. These chipsets power the company’s latest MacBook Pro lineup, which consists of the 14-inch and the 16-inch models. However, the models aren’t the most affordable notebooks, especially in a price-conscious market. Here is what the new MacBook Pros cost in India.

Here’s How Much 14-Inch MacBook Pro Models Cost

Here's How Much 14-Inch MacBook Pro Models Cost

The 14-inch MacBook Pro (8GB Unified Memory, 512GB SSD) with Apple’s new M3 chip starts at Rs. 1,69,900 in India. There’s another model with the baseline M3 chip, which comes with 1TB storage, at Rs. 1,89,900. In the box, users get the notebook and a 70W USB-C power adapter.

It is important to mention that both the M3 models offer an eight-core CPU and a 10-core GPU. These are the most affordable M3 MacBook Pro models. They are available in Space Gray and Silver.

Moving on to the M3 Pro-powered MacBooks, the 14-inch MacBook Pro (18GB Unified Memory, 512GB SSD) costs Rs. 1,99,900. This model ships with an 11-core CPU and 14-core GPU version of the M3 Pro chipset. It comes with a 70W USB-C charger.

There’s a bumped-up version of the 14-inch M3 Pro MacBook Pro (18GB Unified Memory, 1TB SSD) as well, which offers a 12-core CPU and an 18-core GPU. It costs Rs. 2,39,900. In the box, this model has a 96W USB-C power adapter.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro (36GB Unified Memory, 1TB SSD) with M3 Max chipset and a 96W USB-C adapter in the box costs Rs. 3,19,900 in India. Professionals can also configure this particular model all the way up to 96GB of Unified Memory and 8TB of SSD, which increases the cost to a whopping Rs. 6,19,900.

Except for the 14-inch M3 MacBook Pro, all the other models are available in a new Space Black color, along with the classic Silver.

Here’s How Much The 16-Inch MacBook Pro Models Cost

Here's How Much The 16-Inch MacBook Pro Models Cost

The 16-inch MacBook Pro only comes with the M3 Pro and the M3 Max chipsets. While the model with 18GB of Unified Memory and 512GB SSD costs Rs. 2,49,900, the model with 36GB of Unified Memory and 512GB storage is priced at Rs. 2,89,900. Both these models come with a 12-core CPU and an 18-core GPU, configurable with up to 4TB of storage, increasing the cost to Rs. 4,09,900.

The 16-inch M3 Max MacBook Pro, with a 14-core CPU, a 30-core GPU, 36GB of Unified Memory, and 1TB SSD, costs Rs. 3,19,900 in India. The maxed-out variant with a 16-core CPU, 40-core GPU, 48GB of Unified Memory, and 1TB of SSD is available to purchase at Rs. 3,99,900. Both these models are configurable up to 128GB of Unified Memory and 8TB of storage, which increases the price to a monumental Rs. 7,19,900.

That’s the new MacBook Pro lineup for you. Besides the debatable price, the notebooks offer exceptional performance even after consuming lower power than other processors in the segment. While interested buyers can pre-order their models, the MacBook Pros will be available to ship starting November 7, 2023.
