Entertainment Galore as Amazon Prime Video intensifies its OTT Game with a huge line-up of shows, movies & collaborations

OTT Giant Amazon Prime Video is back with a bang. Yes, you heard it right. Amazon Prime Video has announced a huge line-up of original web series and films that it plans to release in the next 2 years. Among its 40 new titles, there are some big names making their Bollywood debut like Shahid Kapoor with Farzi, Juhi Chawla with Hush Hush, Sonakshi Sinha with Dahad and many others. Many successful shows are coming back too with their brand new seasons.

These include Made In Heaven Season 2, Mumbai Diaries Season 2, Mirzapur Season 3, The Family Man Season 3 and more. In short, there is something for everyone. Whether you love thrillers or action, romance or comedy, you will get it all here in one place. Adding to it, the OTT giant has teamed up with major production houses to acquire the OTT streaming right of movies like Pathan (Shahrukh Khan), Runway 34 (Ajay Devgn), Ram Setu (Akshay Kumar) and many more. The Tagline Amazon Prime Video has used is called #SeeWhereItTakesYou. Experts claim that with this move, Amazon will surely disrupt the OTT market in the country. Some say that Prime’s aim is to topple Netflix very soon and that might just be possible considering the fact that Netflix has been losing its Indian subscribers and not renewing Indian web serries frequently.

Here is the line-up that Amazon Prime Video claims to release in the coming 1.5-2 years-

1. Farzi (web-series)

  • Synopsis- A small time artist working out of his grandfather’s printing press has designed the ultimate con job- a crime uniquely suited to him- and gets pulled into the murky, high stakes world of all that it demands. A fiery, unorthodox task force officer has made it his mission to rid the country of the menace this poses in this fast-paced , edgy, one-of-a-kind thriller.
