Until now, the Vivo Apex was the only phone that had an all-display fascia with 98 percent screen-to-body ratio. The phone has literally no bezels, not even a notch where you usually find the front camera. Instead, there is a retractable selfie camera that pops from the top edge. All the other sensor were placed below the display as well.

Inspired by Vivo, another Chinese smartphone brand- Doogee – has produced a concept phone prototype, dubbed as Mix 4, with similar features and a sense of sliding nostalgia. Let’s talk about the device in detail.

Doogee Mix 4 Features

The Doogee Mix 4 is only out as a concept phone as of now, and it was unveiled in an exclusive video by YouTuber Arun Maini aka Mrwhosetheboss. We are embedding the video below for your perusal.

As you can see in the video, the prototype of Mix 4 is divided two segments of metal and glass. The front layer is all dominated by an edge-to-edge 6-inch display. The back layer has dual selfie cameras, earpiece, and ambient light sensor, which are accessible when you slide the display downwards.

That’s how Doogee adjusted all the necessary components of the phone to make room for all-display fascia. Having said that, the mechanism makes the phone 11mm thick, but perhaps the adjustment should work better than Vivo Apex phone.

The prototype of Doogee Mix 4 also has a fingerprint symbol on the display, suggesting an under display fingerprint sensor. On the rear, the phone has a clean back with a dual-rear camera and LED flash.

There are no details about the innards of Doogee Mix 4, we will keep you posted in case anything comes up. Meanwhile, you can let us know your thoughts on the Doogee Mix 4 design, is it better than the Vivo Apex phone?
