Dell has introduced a slate of gaming laptops to the global market including the new Dell G15, Dell G15 Ryzen Edition, and Dell Alienware M15 Ryzen Edition R5. The company has also released gaming monitors in four different screen sizes. 

Among the Dell gaming laptops, Alienware M15 Ryzen Edition R5 has an upstate configuration led by an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX chipset. Meanwhile, the two G15 models share similar features save for the underlying processors. The Dell gaming monitors exhibit refresh rates from 144Hz to 240Hz.

Dell G15 and Dell G15 Ryzen Edition Features

The Dell G15 and Dell G15 Ryzen Edition laptops sport a 15.6-inch Full-HD LED-backlit display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The gaming laptops offer two different panels — one with a 120Hz refresh rate and 250 nits of peak brightness and another with a 165Hz refresh rate and 300 nits of peak brightness.

The standard G15 is powered by a 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10870H processor and the G15 Ryzen Edition gets up to an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H CPU. The two laptops are paired with up to 32GB DDR4 RAM. They come with a 256GB PCIe NVMeM.2 SSD storage that can be pushed up to 2TB capacity.

For graphics, the standard Dell G15 offers two GPU — 6GB GDDR6 Nvidia GeForce GTX 3060 and 4GB GDDR6 Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650. On the other hand, the Ryzen Edition is aided by a 6GB GDDR6 Nvidia GeForce GTX 3060 GPU. As for the battery, you get to pick between 86Whr or 56Whr brick.

The laptops support Nahimic 3D Audio, 720p webcam, Wi-Fi 6, 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard, and runs on Windows 10. They have a USB 3.2 port, two USB 2.0 Gen 1 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Alienware M15 Ryzen Edition R5 Features

The Alienware M15 Ryzen Edition R5 gets a 15.6-inch QHD display with a refresh rate of 240Hz and a peak brightness of 400 nits. The M15 is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 5800HX chipset, up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, dual 2TB PCIe M.2 SSD storage, and one can choose from two GPU options — 8GB GDDR6 RAM Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 or Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 graphics cards.

Alienware M15 Ryzen Edition R5

The Alienware M15 gaming laptop allows Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless connectivity. The physical connectivity options are similar to G15 with an additional USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 port. The laptop has an 86Whr battery, a Cherry MX mechanical keyboard, and can be picked from Windows 10 Pro or Windows 10 Home.

Dell 25, 27, 32 & 34 Gaming Monitors Features

The company has announced four gaming monitors.

Starting with the Dell 25 model, which sports a 24.5-inch Full-HD IPS display with a high refresh rate of 240Hz and a response time of 1ms. The monitor offers adjustment of height, tilt, pivot, and swivel. It supports Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync technologies for motion smoothing. 

Next comes the Dell 27 and Dell 32 gaming monitors which have 27-inch and 32-inch QHD VA displays respectively. The panel supports a 165Hz refresh rate, 2ms response time, and 99% sRGB color space. Here again, the two monitors are equipped with AMD FreeSync support.

The top-model monitor among the four is Dell 34. It has a 34-inch WQHD display with a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels, 144Hz refresh rate, and 2ms response time. The monitor comes certified with VESA DisplayHDR and AMD FreeSync. All four gaming monitors have ultra-thin bezels on their three sides of the screen and back vents for heat dissipation.

Price and Availability of Dell New Launches

The gaming laptops and gaming monitors have been launched globally. The company has slated the global availability of the devices for late April and May. The pricing of the laptops are as follows:

  • Dell G15 – Starts at $899 (around Rs. 67,080)
  • Dell G15 Ryzen Edition – Starts at $899 (around Rs. 67,080)
  • Dell Alienware M15 Ryzen Edition R5 – Starts at $1,793 (around Rs. 1,33,783)

Meanwhile, the prices of the gaming monitors are yet to be revealed. Also, at the moment, there is no word on the India price and availability of the devices.
