Coolpad has made its debut in India on May 28. The new brand launched two smartphones in India namely, Coolpad Dazen 1 and Dazen X7. While Dazen 1 is a low budget smartphone with 2 GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset, which makes it a tough rival against smartphones like Lenovo A6000 Plus, Xiaomi Mi 4i and others in the segment. Coolpad Dazen 1 has been launched exclusively on the e-commerce portal Snapdeal for a price of INR 6,999 through flash sale which starts on June 9. The registrations for the same are already open.
Coolpad Dazen X7 features an octa core MediaTek processor with a clock speed of 1.7 GHz and 2 GB of RAM with 16 GB of in built storage which is expandable by a microSD card. It runs on Android Kitkat 4.4 OS cupped atop by Cool UI 6.0. It flaunts a 5.2 inch full HD SUPER AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The screen is guarded by Corning Gorilla Glass for added protection against scratches and physical damages. Dazen X7 sports a 13 MP auto focus rear facing camera with LED flash which inboxes a Sony IMX 214 sensor and a 6P lens. A front facing camera with an 8 MP wide angle view lens adds to the camera specifications of the smartphone. The 4G LTE enabled smartphone offers dual sim support with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
