Cloud Based Smartphone Nextbit Robin launched in India At 19,999 INR

Even though internet speeds in India are down-at-heels, Nextbit believes situation will improve soon. With this expectation Nextbit Robin has been launched in India. The cloud based smartphone will be available for pre-order at Rs. 19,999. Nextbit has tied up with Flipkart as its retail partner in India. Shipping for Nextbit Robin starts on May 30.

Nextbit Robin Smartprix

In a sea of Android smartphones, Nextbit Robin aims to do things slightly differently. This tall and square box shaped smartphone that has Cloud in its DNA. According to the company, Nextbit Robin is smart enough to detect stuff which you don’t use frequently and shifts it to cloud. If you want to access it,  the phone will automatically fetch it from the cloud.

On specification front, Nextbit Robin features a hexacore Snapdragon 808 chipset, attached with 3GB RAM under its hood. It comes with 32GB of internal storage along with 100GB of cloud storage. The device houses a 5.2-inch full HD display. For shutterbugs, it is packed with a 13-megapixel primary snapper with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and dual tone LED flash. Selfie enthusiasts gets to enjoy five megapixel front camera. DxO mark rated NextBit Robin camera 81 out of 100.

Nextbit Robin also comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor embedded in power button. It also features dual frontal speakers and a USB 3.0 based Type – C charging and data transfer port. It supports 4G LTE, wifi, Bluetooth, and NFC as connectivity options.
