In India, Canon has added the EOS R8 and the ESO R50 to their lineup of cameras. The EOS R50 is an entry-level mirrorless camera designed for Vlogging, but the EOS R5 full-frame camera can be used for high-quality video and still photography. Look at the information below.

Canon EOS R8: Specs and Features

The compact full-frame Camera’s 24.2MP CMOS sensor can oversample 6K source footage into 4K at 60 frames per second. Additionally, it can capture Full HD slow-motion videos. For a shake-free handheld recording, Movie Digital IS is also supported. OIS-supported lenses are unnecessary because they can guarantee tilt corrections and 5-axis picture stabilization.

In addition to the 8-bit format, the EOS R8 supports 10-bit 4:2:2 high dynamic range video recording. HDR PQ Video and Canon Log 3 are also supported for improved color, particularly during post-processing. Aspect marker display, focus breathing correction, exposure adjustment and setting, and UVC (USB Video Class)/UAC (USB Audio Class) support are just a few of the cinematic features available.

An interface for a cordless digital setup with appropriate accessories is made possible by the Multi-function Shoe feature. The Camera has Dual Pixel CMOS AF II technology, also present in the EOS R6 Mark II, for better focus. In less than 0.03 seconds, the EOS iTR AF X technology locates, locks, and acquires focus on the subject.

With low-light limits of up to EV-6.5 for still photos and EV-42 for movies, the Camera can function well in dim-lighting situations. Along with the EOS R8, Canon has also released the new RF24-50mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM, and RF-S55-210mm f/5-7.1 IS STM lenses.

Canon EOS R50: Specs and Features

The 24.2MP APS-C Format Image Sensor of the Canon EOS R50 produces crisper and more detailed photographs. From 6K worth of data, it may also record an oversampled, uncropped 4K output. Given that it is intended for vlogging, it is lightweight and only weighs 375 grams.

Support for Movie IS (with Enhanced and On levels) is available for stable videos, and Movie IS: Enhanced mode will be used for selfies. The EOS R50 offers an auto-level way for leveling out horizontal tilt.

Additionally, it now has compatibility with live streaming via USB cable. It is compatible with the Camera Connect app for simple wireless Wi-Fi or wired USB-C video and photo transfer to a smartphone. Additional functions offered by the mirrorless Camera include Subject Blur Guide, Creative Bracket, and Advanced A+. The RF-S18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM telephoto lens is available, as are two kit choices that have both the RF-S18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM and RF-S55-210mm f/5-7.1 IS STM lenses.
