Snapdragon 460 is formed on 11nm FinFet Process. It bears eight Kryo 240 performance cores and the CPU is reportedly employing big.LITTLE architecture. It boasts a 70% performance gain. This is aided by Adreno 610 GPU which in turn grants a 60% bump in graphics rendering.
The silicon encompasses Snapdragon X11 LTE Modem (with speeds up to 390Mbps download speeds), FastConnect 6100, and WiFi 6 for your connectivity needs.
Among the list of new things, there is a Hexagon 683 DSP offering hardware acceleration TensorFlow Lite. Qualcomm claims Snapdragon 460 fills up half the juice in 20 minutes. It will be interesting to see QC 3.0 fast charging at an affordable tag.
The new Spectra 340 ISP can now support up to 16+16MP dual cameras or a 25MP single camera sensor.
Phones with Snapdragon 460 SoC
1. Oppo A53
Oppo A53 is the first phone to launch with a Snapdragon 460 chipset. It also made headlines for giving a 90Hz 6.5-inch display at a price tag of Rs.12,900. The design shared the newness with a punch hole upfront and domino shaped rear camera panel. Inside you were getting Android 10 based Color OS 7.2, 4+64GB memory configuration, and 5000mAh battery with an 18W fast charger.
2. Vivo Y20, Y20i
The face flaunts a 6.51-inch LCD display with a v-cutout. The householder is an 8MP sensor for selfies. By the back, the handset has a vertical stack of 3 cameras viz a 13MP main, a 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro.
The Y20i differs only in terms of the RAM+ROM choice. It is out in a 3GB + 64GB model.

3. Oppo A32
Oppo A32 is very much similar to the Oppo A53. Of course, it has SD 460 silicon inside. But even things such as a 5000mAh battery, an 18W charger, 6.5-inch 90Hz punch-hole display with punch hole indent, and 13MP led triple rear cams are identical. The SKU is however 4/8+128GB and the selfie snapper is a 16MP sensor.
In India, Oppo launched A33, which except for the name and memory configuration (3+32GB) is the same phone.
4. Moto E7 Plus
The popular Motorola budget series E spawned the Moto E7 Plus with SD 460 SoC. It was launched under Rs. 10,000 in India and came wielding a 48MP camera, 4+64GB memory configuration, 5000mAh battery, and stock-ish Android 10 software.
Other features comprise a rear fingerprint scanner, face unlock, 3.5mm jack, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0. You could pick the device in Misty Blue and Twilight Orange color options.
5. Nokia 3.4
Nokia 3.4 bags a Snapdragon 460, up to 4GB RAM, 64GB onboard storage, expandable storage up to 512GB, and a 4000mAh juice pack. The box comes with only a 5W charger, though it supports a 10W adapter.
Nokia 3.4 will be booting Android 10 OS. However, the company has assured the Android 11 update in the near future. Among other things, you’d get a 13MP primary shooter, accompanied by a 5MP ultrawide snapper, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera has an 8MP sensor residing within a punch-hole cutout.
6. Realme C17
Realme C17 has launched sporting the Snapdragon 460, 5000mAh battery, 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage inside.
Upfront, it flaunts a 6.5″ 90Hz LCD display with HD+ resolution. Other attractions include a 13+8+2+2MP quad-camera setup, an 18W charger inside the box, and Realme UI based on Android 10.
7. OnePlus Nord 100
This OnePlus budget handset has been the talk of the town for quite some time now. Nord 100 bears Snapdragon 460, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 6000mAh battery, 18W charger, and a 13+2+2 megapixel sensor array.
The Nord 100‘s display is 6.52-inches diagonally with HD+ resolution. It has 90Hz refresh rate support. However, the brand isn’t marketing it as such, probably fearing the processing limitations. It and the Nord 10 5G are the OnePlus phones in a very long time to sport a 3.5mm jack. There’s even microSD expansion here.

8. Realme C15
Realme C15 is available in a Snapdragon 460 edition aside from the MTK G35 model. Other than this, both variants share identical specs. They come in 3GB RAM plus 32GB storage configuration. The battery is a 6000mAh cell backed by a 10W charger.
Upfront the phone faces a 6.5” HD+ display with a tiny dewdrop cutout. Therein lies the phone’s 8MP snapper. Swivel to the rear and you have a 13MP triplet and a capacitive fingerprint reader.
As you see, most of these phones share similar hardware. Thus, the end-user experience would boil down to how the software is tuned. Needless to say, there will be a neck-neck price competition between all the popular brands. Hence, we anticipate more phones to ship with Snapdragon 460 in the coming months.
