Belkin – a brand usually associated with mobile phone accessories showcased a new set of ‘Boost Up’ wireless charging pads, 3.5mm Audio + Charge RockStar adapter alongside power banks in India.
Belkin Boost Up Wireless Charging Pads
The Belkin’s latest Qi-compliant ‘Boost Up’ wireless charging pads can deliver 7.5W power for faster charging. The new wireless charger is compatible with Apple’s iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, and other wireless supported Android devices.
As per the company, its wireless charging pods are high on safety feature as they can detect foreign objects and stop transmitting current to prevent any unwanted mishaps. Also, the Belkin Boost Up Wireless charging pad packs a thermal heat sensor keep an eye device temperature and will automatically stop charging as soon device touches the temperature barrier. Belkin went on to announce apart from 2+1 year connected equipment Warranty it will also give compensation up to $2,500 if anything goes wrong with the phone due to its wireless chargers.
Belkin’s head of India business Kartik Bakshi, says that the 2+1 year warranty shows that the confident company has on its products and it is willing to walk the talk.

Belkin 10W Boost UP Charging Stand
Apart from the 7.5W charger, the company also showcased its upcoming 10W Boost UP universal charger which will work with all Qi-certified devices includingApple and Samsung smartphones.
Belkin 5000mAh and 10,000mAh Power Banks
Belkin also showcased us it’s already available mobile power banks of 5,000mAh and 10000mAh. It power banks hold a Lithium Polymer batteries inside. The Belkin 5000mAh power bank is priced at Rs. 2,499 whereas the 10,000mAh has been priced at Rs 3,999. The company said that it also has plans to offer a 15,000mAh power bank at a later some stage.

3.5mm Audio + Charge RockStar Adapter for iPhones
For iPhone owners, the company also announced what company calls a RockStar Adapter which offers a 3.5mm Audio alongside Lightning port so that you can simultaneously charge your phone along with audio playback. The company has set a starting price of Rs. 4,999 for its RockStar docks.
