The pre-registration for Battlegrounds Mobile India has commenced in the country for Android users. The game has now been listed on Google Play Store from where interested users can pre-register themselves. However, the official release date is still not disclosed by Krafton – the developer of Battlegrounds Mobile India.
Krafton has remodeled the PUBG mobile game specifically for India post the game was banned in September 2020. Now, the mobile game is attempting to enter again in India with another name. As signs of progress, the developer has opened the pre-registration window. Also, a few rewards have been announced for some early pre-bookers.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Pre-registration & Rewards
The pre-registration link for Battlegrounds Mobile India is currently up on Google Play Store. The system requirements for the game are the device running on Android 5.1.1 or above and at least 2GB RAM memory. The game will be exclusive to Indian players only.

- Search ‘Battlegrounds Mobile India’ on Google Play Store or simply click on this link to be redirected to the page.
- Click on the ‘Pre-register’ button.
- Google Play Store will ask for permission to automatically install the game when it’s available. To do so, click on ‘Install when available’.

Krafton is offering four exclusive pre-registration rewards for its fans that include a Recon Mask, a Recon Outfit, Celebration Expert Title, and 300 AG currencies.
“Featuring diverse maps with different terrains on a virtual setting, Battlegrounds Mobile India, utilizes the full capabilities of Unreal Engine 4 to bring alive fantastic worlds augmented by 3D sound, to build a truly immersive experience on a mobile phone,” states Krafton within the Play Store descriptions.
What’s new in Battlegrounds Mobile India?
Battlegrounds Mobile India is expected to be a revamped version of the PUBG Mobile. The new game will be available to users above 16 years of age. Minors below the set age need to be verified. They must get parental consent and can only play the game for three hours a day. Also, agreeing to the Indian government norms, Krafton has established its servers in the country itself to provide more user privacy and data protection.
As far as the actual game is concerned, Battlegrounds Mobile India will be distinct from the global version of PUBG. The participants will land on the game map with complete clothes and the visual color for blood will be green. There will be in-app purchases, exclusive events, special edition costumes, and different matches. Though, the maps are expected to be similar to the PUBG mobile game.
