Answer: Design wise, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro is not as tempting at its own ageing Zenfone 3 or the upcoming Zenfone 5, but if you compare it with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro, I find it more appealing in comparison. It looks much cleaner and is in line with the latest trends.

Also, the Max Pro M1 is the slimmest phone with a 5000mAh battery and weighs a modest 180 grams. As far as big battery phones go, this is one of the best-designed phones.

We tested various games including Asphalt 8, PUBG and Jetpack on the device and it manages to sail through all gaming tests. Playing at the highest settings, we noticed on visible lag or frame drops which is certainly a good news for all the budding budget gamers.
