Asus today expanded its Go series with the launch of Zenfone Go ZB552KL smartphone in India. The smartphone is available exclusively at Amazon India and comes with a price tag of Rs. 8,499. It comes in Charcoal Black, and Sheer Gold hues.
The ZenFone Go series made its debut last year and since than Asus has been pushing it as a budget range. The company highlights its elegant design and smart camera as prominent features of the new phone.

The new Go series phone houses a 5.5-inch IPS display that has screen resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It is powered by 1.0GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8916 chipset coupled with Adreno 306 GPU.The phone is packed with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be bumped up to 128GB via microSD card.
In optics, Asus has added a 13-megapixel camera paired with dual tone LED flash at the back and a 5-megapixel shooter at the front with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. Asus has added its PixelMaster 3.0 software which offers multiple modes like HDR Mode, Low Light Mode, Manual Mode, Real Time Beautification Mode, Super Resolution Mode, Night Mode etc for shutterbugs.
The smartphone boots up on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company’s ZenUI 3.0 on top. The phone further includes a 3000 mAh removable Lithium-ion battery. Asus has added most of the common connectivity options like LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2, dual SIM, microUSB, GPS and GLONASS. The device measures 136.5 x 66.7 x 3.6 11.2 mm and weighs 168 g.
