Asus has launched a new entry-level smartphone Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE to strengthen its portfolio in India. The phone is available online and will be available on all leading offline retail stores in a week’s time. It is priced at Rs 6,999 which makes it a competitor of Redmi 3S at least in online space.

The design of the phone is inspired by the Zenfone 2 family as it comes with arced back with a bushed metallic finish. It comes in two finish– Matte finish in Glamour Red color, and with Hairline finish in Silver Blue, Gold, and Silver color options. It features volume rocker at the back and power button on the top. The phone measures 136.5×66.7×11.2 mm and weigh 135g.
In terms of specification, the Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (resolution of 854 × 480 pixels) display, powered by 1.0 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 Processor along with 1 GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage.

The phone runs on ASUS ZenUI garnished on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It comes with an 8 MP main rear camera and a 2 MP front shooter. It is backed by a 2070 mAh removable battery.
