Apple Rules The Smart World Again

0

Samsung has been running the smartphone race as if it had an advantageous head start in the competition being contested among various smartphones manufacturers all over the world. While Apple was being considered the most dangerous rival against Samsung in the global market, Samsung made it look like a rainbow ride to take over Apple as the number one smartphone brand. But now just when the biggest event of mobile launch, MWC 2015, is on, Apple has reclaimed its throne by beating Samsung again by quite a margin.

As reported by Gartner Inc. on Tuesday, the new iPhones 6 and 6 Plus have got the redemption for Apple by claiming the highest sales record in the fourth quarter of 2014. For the final quarter of 2014, Apple took home a 20.4% share of worldwide smartphone sales, up from 17.8% during the same quarter in 2013. Over the same period, Samsung’s share of the smartphone market, on sales of 73 million units, plummeted to 19.9% from 29.5%.

Apple’s bigger displays have definitely paid it the worth it deserved by surging the sales up the charts and regaining its throne which was recently occupied by Samsung. Seems like Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge got some real hard work to do right from the very beginning of their rising.
