Apple iPhone 16: New Face ID Design

The news about the Face ID design emerged after Coherent, a semiconductor company hinted that Apple had cut ties with it. Although nothing is clear as of now, all these rumors indicate that the Pro models might come with an under-screen Face ID setup.  However, there are reports which claim that the Face ID feature will likely debut in 2025. iPhone 16 Series might come with some Face ID features though it might get a major overhaul next year. iPhone 16 Pro: Camera update

Ming-Chi Kuo claims that the iPhone 16 Series will come with a major camera upgrade. It is said to feature a tetraprism lens that was earlier seen on the iPhone 15 Pro Max only, but now it might roll out to the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max. The tetraprism lens will enable a 5x optical zoom, an improvement over the 3x zoom capability of the iPhone 15 Pro. Apple’s main lens supplier Largan will continue to provide these advanced lenses for the iPhone 16 Series.

The iPhone 16 Pro is also expected to come with a slight size increase to accommodate the tetraprism lens. This design change would allow a larger zoom lens. Other tweaks include touch-sensitive buttons with haptic feedback, a vertical camera layout, and more.

The iPhone 16 Series will reportedly be powered by Apple A18 bionic chipset across all four models to offer a performance boost. Ios 18 will offer a flurry of new features. Pro Models will come with increased refresh rates and better battery life thus making iPhone 16 models better than predecessors.
