Amazon has already partnered with local content players like Dharma production, T-Series, Vishesh Films, Green Gold Animation, Japan’s TV Asahi Corporation and many others. Recently, it also announced a new partnership with filmmaker SS Rajamouli, Graphic India and Arka Mediaworks for a multi-episode animated Bahubali series for prime members. Amazon is also in the race to acquire IPS streaming rights which could make it an instant hit amidst sports audience.

We could spot some recent Indian blockbusters like Sultan, Kapoor and Sons and Kabali in the Media Library as well. Hollywood titles and shows are rather dated, but considering the price, the content should suffice for now. Besides, since its Amazon, we do expect the library to grow rather aggressively in the near future.
